We use Metrohm titration systems that, in principle, consist of Titrando devices, which in turn operate a series of dosing units. The system is computer-operated. The experimental setup as well as the software possibilities are very flexible, and it is possible to realize any combination of titrations and potential measurements. Conductivity measurements are integrated, and our measurement cells are thermostatted and de-coupled from the atmosphere.

We highly appreciate a loan setup from Markus Antonietti (Max-Planck-Institute of Colloids and Interfaces).

Our basic eperiments are complemented by a wide range of experimental techniques and instrumentations (e.g., TEM, cryo-TEM, SEM, Analytical Ultracentrifugation, scattering techniques, etc.), which are accessible at the University of Konstanz, as well as our collaboration partners.
